Life in Christ Assembly is birthed by the Arise Metropolitan Assembly (3R Movement) as a man child to the mission field in Islington London.

 

Our Purpose

 

Life in Christ Assembly, As a New Testament Ministry; we hold it to be true that Christ Jesus purposes that His Church fulfils certain mandates while still on planet earth. We shall therefore give ourselves over to be engaged in the pursuit of these specific purposes, which we receive from the Lord:

 

1. We Worship God in Spirit and in Truth We will constantly give room for the Holy Spirit to use us to provide the enabling environment and perspective necessary to worship God in Spirit and Truth. Our spiritual understanding and maturity in Christ is enhanced as we receive the fivefold leadership gifts of Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers who will equip us to know God more intimately and do the work of the ministry. We will invest our lives, time and resources to activate and dwell in the holy presence of our God in reflective meditation, delight in His Presence, appreciate His Being and Power as well as through vocal expression of gratitude for blessings received. We will utilize praise, worship, dance and music designed to make the joy of the Lord a living reality. Matthew 22:37-38; John 4:23, 24; Philippians 4:4, 6 

 

What we believe

 

The sole basis of our beliefs is the Bible (Old and New testaments), God's infallible written Word. We believe that it was uniquely, verbally and fully inspired by the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme and final authority in all matters on which it speaks.

 

There is one true God, eternally existing in three persons - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - each of whom possessed equally all the attributes of deity and the characteristics of personality.

 

The Salvation of man is wholly a work of God's free grace and is not the work of human works, goodness or religious ceremony. God imputes His righteousness to those who put their faith in Christ alone for their salvation, and thereby justifies them in His sight.

 

Jesus Christ will come again to the earth, personally, visibly and bodily to establish His Kingdom. At this time, the dead will be resurrected bodily, the believer to eternal joy with the Lord, and the unbeliever to condemnation and endless, conscious suffering.

 

We accept these large areas of doctrinal teaching on which historically, there has been general agreement among all true Christians.
